CompEAP Work-Life Specialists have both lived and career experience prior to joining. For example, our Childcare and Eldercare Specialists have work in a variety of related settings giving them broad exposure to different care resources, environments and approaches. Often their support is a mix of educating clients about options and providing resources based on the specific needs of a family and their situation.
Once you contact CompEAP, our Work-Life Specialist will discuss your needs with you. If you need expert advice, a consultation will be provided and/or research will be done on your behalf to locate specific resources. Before making a referral to you, CompEAP will outreach to ensure the availability of the resources (e.g. does a preschool have openings?) and fit based on your situation (e.g. is the eldercare facility equipped/licensed to administer medications?).
All employees and their adult household members are eligible to contact CompEAP and request assistance.
