What Confidentiality Am I Entitled Too?
Our confidential services are made available to you and your adult household members by your employer, at no cost to you.
How Confidential Is This Program?
No information regarding your use of CompEAP services will be released to your employer or anyone else without your consent. This includes all personal identifying information and any information about which CompEAP services you choose to access. You will be afforded the same confidentiality whether you talk with CompEAP staff over the phone or text, or if you use the resources and tools available at My.CompEAPLifeServices.com. The only exceptions to our confidentiality are required by law, when we assess that someone is a potential danger to themselves or others.
What Happens When I Call?
Your phone call will be live-answered by a trained person 24/7. We will talk with you to evaluate your needs and put a plan of action in motion. All you need to do is make the first call: 800-344-1011
What Happens When I Text/Message?
All texts are live-answered by a trained person during CompEAP’s office hours (9:00 – 5:30 M-F). We will exchange messages with you to understand your needs, set up a good time to talk in depth, and or put a plan of action into motion. All you need to do to reach out is click the blue chat bubble on the bottom right-hand side of the page.
How Confidential Is The My Wellness Journal?
Your journal entries are confidential and secure. Only you can see your journal entries. You can elect to share them with a CompEAP counselor. To do so you must select to have a CompEAP counselor contact you. The CompEAP counselor who will be contacting you will be able to see only your most recent journal entry. This will help the counselor prepare for the conversation with you. You are welcomed to contact CompEAP counselors at any time without sharing your Journal entry. At no time will your Journal entrees be shared with anyone outside of CompEAP.
