Most time management systems focus on goal setting, prioritizing and interruption management. There is a lot of good in this strategy. And yet, it doesn’t allow for the certainty that everything doesn’t often go according to plan! Many of us wish we had more time to get it all done. While adding more hours to our day may not be possible, recent studies suggest mindfulness practitioners experience time as passing more slowly and feel less rushed as a result.
